FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How are you different from other longarm quilters?

I am highly collaborative and I do not have any surprise, hidden or setup fees. Once I send you an email with the estimate, that will be the price you pay once you agree for the work to begin.

How do you accept new orders?

You have options for getting an order started. I can be emailed, called, texted, or use the contact form at the top. I will reach out to you in the method you reached out to me and if you prefer a consultation over the phone, just indicate that to me. Just make sure to let me know the length and width of your quilt, a quilt motif you have in mind, particular thread color, and timing.

Can you summarize your charges?

The standard quilting charge is 2.75 cent per square inch (length x width). The charge for batting will vary based on your selection of blended (80/20 blend) or all cotton. Thread included is Omni/Madeira, but there is a slight up-charge for Aurifil thread (over 50+ colors). All quilt designs are included.

Extra charges will apply for the following:

Piecing your backing or batting (if you supply) into one piece @ $25/seam.

Rush Orders. Flat charge of $99 added to your order.

What is your turnaround time?

My standard turn around time is 5 days at the moment. If you have a rush order, it will be next day from the day I receive it.

Do you provide binding/trimming services?

I can provide these services for an additional charge. We can discuss this when I am pricing your quilt. If you want hand binding, this will not be available for next day rush order.

Do you offer rush service?

I do offer rush service for an additional fee of $99. Please note that this will be for quilting only orders. I cannot do this for quilting and adding on binding service.

What are your payment options?

I accept all major credit cards or Venmo.
